Steel structures / Utilities buildings
Utility buildings are designed to protect and integrate equipment or technological lines essential for the operation of various industrial processes. These include halls and metal structures specially designed for compressed air compressor stations, water treatment and purification plants, pumping groups, filtration equipment, as well as other equipment that requires protection against the weather and a controlled operating environment.
They are special buildings that must be designed to comply with:
- the dimensions and requirements of the existing technological line
- optimal accessibility for service, maintenance and operation
- ventilation and air conditioning adapted to the equipment
- protection against vibrations, dust, humidity or corrosive agents
- technical and safety regulations specific to the housed equipment
In many cases, these buildings must be sized and constructed after the technological line has been installed, adapting exactly to the available space and the requirements imposed by the equipment manufacturers.
MeCAD designs and executes such technical constructions, fully integrated with industrial machinery and installations, ensuring total compatibility between the structure, panels and mounted equipment.
Examples of such constructions can be found HERE
